Let's get a quick first-post intro out of the way so we can get to the good stuff. I wanted to start a blog like this because I have only seen a handful out there, and when you're in this situation, it's extremely helpful and comforting to relate to someone who has gone through it before.
I will be jumping into the big bad world of chem graduate school in a few months, and (hopefully) I will be dishing about it here. For those of you who don't know, there is a horrible stigma (depending on who you talk to of course) about the (mental) torture that goes on in these graduate school - most of the groaning coming from present or past survivors of a doctoral chemistry degree.
I will be going through all the grueling details about interviews and acceptances/rejections ...and the transition into graduate school life.
But, it's Christmas Eve, so I won't go into detail yet...Be back soon!
